On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 12.0 x 10.0 inches, or 15.4 x 12.9 inches on 14 count: 216 x 180 stitches, 25,955 in all, in 8 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 3823 Yellow Ultra Pale, 3824 Apricot Light, 351 Coral, 437 Tan Light, 912 Emerald Green Light, 702 Kelly Green and 444 Lemon Dark).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
