On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 11.6 x 11.9 inches, or 14.9 x 15.4 inches on 14 count: 208 x 215 stitches, 26,468 in all, in 8 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 816 Garnet, 712 Cream, 3799 Pewter Gray Very Dark, 3808 Turquoise Ultra Very Dark, 729 Old Gold Medium, 414 Steel Gray Dark and 317 Pewter Gray).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
