On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 10.4 x 16.1 inches, or 13.4 x 20.6 inches on 14 count: 188 x 289 stitches, 29,308 in all, in 7 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 666 Bright Red, 725 Topaz Medium Light, 745 Yellow Pale Light, 413 Pewter Gray Dark, 3865 Winter White and 648 Beaver Gray Light).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
