On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 11.5 x 12.0 inches, or 14.8 x 15.4 inches on 14 count: 207 x 216 stitches, 28,033 in all, in 6 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 3865 Winter White, 971 Pumpkin, 666 Bright Red, ECRU Ecru and 972 Canary Deep).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
