On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 11.8 x 12.0 inches, or 15.2 x 15.4 inches on 14 count: 213 x 216 stitches, 30,054 in all, in 7 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, ECRU Ecru, 817 Coral Red Very Dark, 796 Royal Blue Dark, 3847 Teal Green Dark, 742 Tangerine Light and 738 Tan Very Light).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
