On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 8.1 x 10.0 inches, or 10.4 x 12.9 inches on 14 count: 145 x 180 stitches, 15,486 in all, in 6 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 712 Cream, 3850 Green Bright Dark, 725 Topaz Medium Light, 666 Bright Red and 3847 Teal Green Dark).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
