On 18 count Aida it finishes at about 5.9 x 6.0 inches, or 7.6 x 7.7 inches on 14 count: 107 x 108 stitches, 7,041 in all, in 5 DMC colors (DMC 310 Black, 712 Cream, 666 Bright Red, 909 Emerald Green Very Dark and 725 Topaz Medium Light).

How many colors do the patterns use?+
Between 4 to 15 DMC colors, chosen for the design. Each pattern lists its exact threads and how many skeins of each you need.
Can I stitch it on 14 count instead of 18?+
Yes. Patterns are sized for 18 count Aida; on 14 count the finished piece is about 30% larger. Pick fabric a few inches bigger than the finished size on every side for framing.
